French Connections in Texas

As many French Affaires readers know, I am from Texas originally and have made France my passion and my profession… or some might say my obsession. Some days it does feel like that – in all good ways of course!

My hometown newspaper in Dallas is running a feature on my career with the French language and culture in their March issue. Many thanks to the Park Cities People for showcasing my special class ‘France for Travelers’ that I teach every spring just in time for the upcoming travel season. I have collaborated for over 10 years with SMU’s Personal Enrichment Courses program to bring all sorts of French culture and language offerings to North Texas. I created this class in particular to help novice to experienced travelers to France get the most out of their journeys. In essence, the workshop is rich immersion into everything visitors need to know to have a fabulous time in France every time. ‘France for Travelers’ is also one of the featured events of this year’s French Cultures Festival sponsored by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in Houston. If you’ve not had a chance to take this workshop and you love France, I invite you to join us next year for the 2021 event. And for the full article, click here or on the photo above.

NB: I am looking into offering this course online – please leave a comment below if you’d be interested in the virtual format. Merci beaucoup!
