Hello Elizabeth! I’ve been an avid reader of Victoria since it’s inception in 1987 (of course it was defunct for a few years before Phyllis Hoffman brought it back to it’s former glory.) I am a world traveler and have recently settled outside of Dallas, Texas. I’ve just retired from real estate, but last spring I toured the home of a lovely lady by the name of Carolyn New. I am wondering if that is your mother, perhaps? She had the most elegant home. Anyway, I enjoyed reading about your in Victoria and am now perusing your blog.
