The Best of Burgundy and Lyon

October 13-22, 2022 • Burgundy and Lyon, France

We’re excited to continue the new 2021 France trip offering, with our insider journey ‘The Best of Burgundy and Lyon.’ During this rich French travel experience, we will be immersed in the incredible medieval-to-modern history and culture of ‘la Bourgogne’ and then spend three days in the exciting French city of Lyon. Our one-of-a-kind France trip has it all – monuments, museums, chateaux, abbeys and monasteries, landscapes, and other attractions particular to these striking areas of France. Throughout our travels, we’ll take in the lasting significance of the powerful Dukes of Burgundy in the 14th and 15th centuries, Flemish influences on art and architecture, and sacred traditions and abbeys. Towns on our perfectly arranged itinerary will include Beaune, Dijon, Lyon, and others on our insider must-see list. These locales are also home to some of France’s finest culinary and wine traditions – we’ll enjoy many fabulous meals with wine pairings plus tastings of local gourmet products including cheeses and more. And our historic luxury accommodations will only enhance the extraordinary ambiance of our journey through Burgundy towns and countryside and then our time in the center of Old Lyon. This unforgettable trip will of course incorporate the expertise of the best French historians, guides, chefs, culinary experts, vintners, artists and artisans so you’ll see and experience Burgundy and Lyon up close and personally. We had so much interest – we offered this identical trip in September 2021 and October 2021. We hope you can come with us on this special trip in Burgundy and Lyon, France!
