This French Affaires offering will be based at the exceptional setting of the Chateau of Courances, and the Lodgings of Pierres d’Histoire. We will be living in a mediaeval village where one can step back in time and away from noise and rush. We will have access to the stunning grounds of the Chateau, with its renowned water gardens.

- The historical home of French Kings, the Chateau of Fontainebleau
- The artist colony of Barbizon
- The quaint market town of Milly-la-Forêt, home of Christian Dior and Jean Cocteau
- The mediaeval chateau and village of Blandy
- The enchanting hiking trails of the Forest of Fontainebleau and Les Trois Pignons
We will work in as much French language as guests wish, fine restaurants in the region, a cooking event, guides, and conversations with local friends from Elizabeth and my days living in the Presbytère of Courances.
